Have any of you guys tried a ported head or intake on your car? I see Dinan offers a ported (extrude-honed) intake manifold they say is good for some H.P. even when bolted onto a stock head. I would think bolting such a manifold to a head with matching, enlarged ports would be an even better idea; Korman and Metric Mechanic claim big gains from their ported heads even if mated to a stock intake. I'm guessing most of the power increase would come at mid to high r.p.m.- maybe not so practical on street driven cars (on a H.P. per dollar basis) and especially for automatics. Anyway, I'm just bench racing here (for now) and would like to hear from you motorheads. Thanks!
