AC compressor - bearing is gone (archive)

Should I rebuild the compressor with a kit (bearing,clutch,etc.) or buy a new or rebuilt? Does anybody know a good source to get the compressor? Present compressor does work, but it is extremely noisey. The car is a 85 635 EURO with 83,000 miles. Thanks in advance for any info.
