: I'M STILL TRYING TO REMOVE THE FACTORY RADIO. HERE'S THE STUPID QUESTION....HOW DO I REMOVE THAT THIN BLACK RECTANGULAR TRIM FROM AROUND THE RADIO WITHOUT BRAKING IT AND ONCE ITS REMOVED, WILL I THEN SEE THE BRASS SCREWS YOU GUYS MENTIONED IN THE ARCHIVES TO REMOVE THE RADIO, OR DO I NEED TO GET UNDERNEATH THE RADIO, TO SEE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

On my 88 M6 there are thw small tabs on each side of the radio. You can open the tabs with a small screwdriver. Behind theese tabs is where the five sided brass allen screw is.
