TRX wheel swap (archive)

I'm getting ready to dump the 220/55/390 TRX rims on my 87 L6.
Dicount Tire Direct has a replica BWM rim that I may end up getting. According to them A 225/60/15 will fit fine. Does anyone know if this is an eqivalent swap as far as diameter and width so they don't rub anywhere? I saw in the archives some said do the math and showed it, but math wasn't my strong suit and I don't know how he did it. I'm not necessarily looking for low profile, just good looks on the car with the same handeling and no body interference.
