Having read all the responses - here's my input.

15" and even 14" wheels will fit standard 635's, if you don't believe me read the owners manual or just try it.
225/60/15's give the most comfortable ride, especially over long haul trips. The 415 TRX's give a far harsher ride, but better handling. Going over the 415's to 17" and 18" wheels will look great but hurt your ride and your pocket with a negligible benefit to handling.
In a pinch I had to use a 225/60/15 with three 415mm TRX's and there is no appreciable difference to normal road handling, and significantly the ABS still functioned.
In summary, 15 inch wheels are fine for comfort cruising, 16", 415's and 17" should be the options for maximum handling, anything bigger is just expensive flash.
