I am also going to remove my SLS and lower my M6 soon. I have already lowered my 88 635. At that time I went with Eibachs and Bilstein Sports. I am very happy with that cars ride and handling! Bilsteins are awesome. A little firm, but well worth the handling improvement. This time, however, I am going to use H&R springs along with the Bilstein Sports. Sports are needed when you lower these cars. They have a shorter piston throw to accomodate the shorter springs. The valving on the sports is the same on the Heavy Dutys. I also have been told that it is advantageous to have the valving changed slightly to fit our cars dynamics. I have not researched that further though. Let me know what you find out. Dinan may be good but I find them to be outrageously high on there prices! (I have heard that they use H&R and Bilsteins and then put the Dinan name on and raise the price). Turners Motorsports seem to have the best prices on spring and shocks. Check the earlier post (a couple of days ago) I asked regarding the spring cups that are also needed to lower cars with self levelers. One last note BE CAREFUL removing the reservoirs in the wheel wells on both sides. They are under high pressure. If you remove the pressure lines without relieving the pressure first it will blast hydraulic fluid directly at you. Go to the library and consult the Mitchells Manual for the removal sequence!!!
