Check out http://hem.passagen.se/bmw635/history.html It states that Bmw had ASC(American Sunroof Co.) to make a couple of them, but BMW execs didn't like the look("looked like a banana") so they discontinued. The only two they made were red I think. I have seen some aftermarket convertibles roaming around in Atlanta. Hope this info helps.
