VIN# (call your insurance co-they can tell you)

Some insurance companies will NOT cover gray market cars or charge a lot more.

Passing emissions can be a problem.

Some BMW dealers will NOT touch a gray market car.

Prices are a LOT lower. I bought my friend's mint Alpina when not a single dealer would take it in trade OR even let it sit on their lots on consignment. They were concerned about liability.
