Oil Light flickers ON on idle speed & disappears (archive)

When I slow down and put the car on neutral to stop, the oil light on the dash flickers but disappears as soon as I press on the gas pedal. I read on the manual that this is nothing to worry about as long as it disappears when I go.

Is this something to worry about?

Also, what should be the car's oil pressure on idle and maximum when you drive the car, any range???
