Everyone should be aware that this bolt tightens the oil supply line that provides for a constant feed of oil to the camshaft. If this comes loose it will severly lower the supply of oil to the cam resulting in excessive wear of the camshaft and followers. They are notorious for coming loose. I have seen a few of these bolts get tossed right out of the fitting and are found lying in an oil return hole in the head. This causes NO oil to be delivered to the spray bar! If you wait until there is a bad noise coming from the valve train; it is too late. It is pretty easy to pull the valve cover off and look see. CHECK THEM OFTEN. Do not over tighten.
