I also bought the book and think it is worth it. I have, however, seen some posts on various lists that are a little critical of the book for some factual errors and typos, etc. This book would benefit from a second edition, but given the narrow market, I wouldn't hold my breath!

I personally find Jeramy Walton's writing style a little impenetrable at times; a lot of hyphens, semicolons, three thoughts in one sentence, etc.

That said, he really has done a remarkable amount of work on the car and the book. He also has other BMW titles to his name, but a lot of the material in his other books is adequately covered in the six series book.

Overall rating of B+
Still probably the best book on the car I have seen.

YMMV
