I have an 86 635CSi that has Yokohama AVS Sport 235/45ZR17 at all four corners. These are on BBS RC 17x8.5 rims and i've had no trouble with any rubbing. The AVS Sport are great tires. They also have good wet traction. As for the offset with the 850 rims, i do not know. I had mine ordered from the tire rack with the correct offset spacers.
