To remove the sunroof, open the roof approx. 1/4 of the way, pull down on the front edge of the liner to dislodge the 4 spring clips, slide the liner aft to free the two rear clips, disconnect the two clips to the rain gutter. The liner is now free, slide it out.

Now that the liner is out removing the metal roof is pretty straight forward: Remove the six 8mm nuts which attach the roof to the 2 brackets, remove the 6 screws which attach the leading edge to the track.
