: Hi guys:

: Today the top radiator hose came off as I attempted to pass another car. WHen I was about to reconnect it, I realized that tha plastic connection pipe that ges into the hose was prviously broken and was now much shorter than it should be, therefore, tha hose and clamp can barely grab hold of it. I read here before that there is a way to fix this in an otherwise perfect radiator. I t is starting to get quite hot here and I don't want this to happen again. Any ideas.

: Thanks

Jo,
This happened to me a couple of months ago.
There happened to be a Behr radiator distributor in town here. They replaced the plastic side tanks, rodded it and pressure-tested. It was only a little over a hundred bucks for the radiator work (not including installation). The point is that it can be rebuilt if you find the right shop.
