Condition seats before the sheepskins??Any advice? (archive)

I have my sheepskins arriving shortly from Bav Auto. I'm thinking I should deeply condition the leather before I put the covers on the seats to avoid taking them off in 2 years to find it destroyed to dry rot.

Are there any nightmares out there relating to this?

What do you guys think?
