I'll disagree because the car has a voltage regulator and as long as its a 12V.and not a trucks 14 or 18 volt batt. you won't have a problem. However, if you have additional lighting, stereo sys.with amps.,get one with a high CCA rating(Cold Cranking Amps)which is a batteries'reserve power capacity and will save you from getting stuck someday if you leave the lights on/park with the stereo up or a/c on!
