Bmw 635 csi 1979 (archive)

I have a 635 csi 1979 Euro with a 1985 3.5 engine.
My engine is soon blowing and i want to replace it with a 745 i (Turbo) 1985.Has anyone done the change from 635 engine to 745 engine and is there some advice
for me before i go to work?
My car is like new with Alpina 17` 235/265 tires and are running like a wind. Fun and soul is the feelings i have for my lovely car.I will never seperate from this baby.
