: Anyone have any good inputs on Bilstein shocks vs Boge. I am ready to replace shocks on my 6 and am looking for inputs on ride vs handling.

A lot of people have said that the Bilsteins wear very well but that has not been my experience. I have the "Sport" shocks for short springs on my car and I have gone through 2 sets in the past 3 years and they are already shot again! I don't race the car, only street driving and mostly freeway at that! I'm not impressed with the Bilsteins and I won't buy another set.

The Bilsteins that I have make for a pretty harsh ride. If you like a very firm ride, they are great but if you want the car to be comfortable, I'd opt for something a bit softer.
