: : ...I have BBS RC 17x8.5 and they fit on my 86 with no trouble. The tire size is 235/45ZR17

: I want to run 245/45 16's in the Rear. From a
: steering/driving standpoint, it is preferrable
: to grow the tire width to the outside (as
: opposed to inboard). The stock TRX's said 215
: but were more like 195's. This means that a
: 245 will be almost 2 inches wider than stock.
: Now suppose I come inboard 1/2". I am still
: adding ~1 1/2" to the outside.

I would not be able to answer your question. When looking for my wheels, i went to the Tire Rack's online website to find all the wheels they had available to fit the 635. Then i talked to a rep on the phone who gave me all the fitment information. Its worth a try.
