Chip for Euro models? (archive)

Does anyone have any experience in finding a performance chip for a Euro 635. Does anyone even make such an animal? I have been told that it does'nt exist and that any use of a US version chip would hurt my performance. Any suggestions on squeezing out some more horses from an all original 85 635 native german euro. It's pretty quick, but I feel the need for speed!
