: I have E38 16x8 BBS style wheels fitted onto my E24 with 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear. I have no clearance problems in the rear but fronts required a set of spacers and extended lug bolts to clear the strut housing. You can get those spacers (H&R) and lug bolts from Turnermotorsports for lot less $$$ than from BMP. I have no wheel balance/shimmy problems with this setup. I am running Dunlop SP 8000 tires.
