Scott, do you have "before/after" experience with the chip swap on your M635, or did you acquire the car with the Dinan chip already installed?

I ask because I have heard several mechanics say that the stock chip gives you all you're going to get and any 3rd party chip is a waste of money. I'm looking for testimonials to the contrary.

I have been told that it does'nt exist and that any use of a US version chip would hurt my performance. Any suggestions on squeezing out some more horses from an all original 85 635 native german euro. It's pretty quick, but I feel the need for speed!

: Try Dinan egnineering in Mountain View CA. If anyone is going to have a chip for your car it is them. i have an '84M635CSI with one of their chips in the car with a track pipe, no catalitic
