: Could someone tell me hoe tough a job this is? I was looking at the repair mannual for the 7 and 5 series and this doesn't look to terribly difficult. Are there any special instuctions for the 6? I just don't want to mess this up. How hard is it to change the pads? Any info is greatly appreciated as always!

: Thanks,
: Todd

It's not hard at all. The only problem that I ran into was in removing the two hex head alignment bolts. There is one on each rotor. They basically keep the rotor lined up on the spindle. The metal was soft on mine so the bolts sheered off and the car had to sit a couple days while the local BMW dealership got them in. Other than that, the job is a breeze.
