: Could someone tell me hoe tough a job this is? I was looking at the repair mannual for the 7 and 5 series and this doesn't look to terribly difficult. Are there any special instuctions for the 6? I just don't want to mess this up. How hard is it to change the pads? Any info is greatly appreciated as always!

: Thanks,
: Todd

A couple of metric allen wrenches and it is a snap! Spray the allen bolts with penetrating oil and let them sit a while. Be carefull pulling them out and you won't have a problem.

When you put the bolts back in the rotor put a little anti seize compound on them so next time they will come right out.. Also remember that these bolts only align the rotor until the wheel goes on. once the whell goes on they realy serve no purpose.. This is a long winded way to say they don't need to be very tight.

Have fun!

P.S. Before you put the wheels back on spray the rotors front and back with brake cleaner..oil and grease from your fingers will cause all kinds of problems!

John
