I sold a 1984 633csi about 6 mos. ago. It was gey with red leather. The interior was near perfect with only a one inch crack in the dash. The paint was okay. not heavily clouded. The engine ran great with no major work it had 175,000 miles. I ended up getting 4300 for the car. I bought a 1993 318i and have found it to be an inferior car in terms of build quality (especially in the interior dept.)and quietness and obviously power. However, the 318i is more reliable so far very few quirks. My advice is that you resolve to keep the car if you were planning on buying something newer. If I had it to do over I would have:
Kept the car
Changed to an r-134 ac system
saved for a later model 3.5 engine (1990 on)
saved for an upcoming paint job
