type of oil, if it goes away, its the oil type right? you might want to drain the exensive redline into a clean-sealable container so as to re-use it after this experience if you want although before putting it back into the tranny, strain it thru a fine mesh(like a paint strainer for spray guns, they are very fine meshes that won't fall apart)just in case any particles of dirt get into it when drained.
