I just bought an 85 M635, 170k miles total however 19k since complete engine overhaul, cluth, Metric Mechanic short shift, Mahle 10.5:1 pistons, real cold A/C, BBS 15" 3pcs with Dunlop Z-rate SP tires, Dinan chip, 750 brakes and bushings, and in near concours shape except some spots where the clear is weak. Came from CA and then to MD, now it's back in dry Utah with me and under the wing of our Cessna at the airport. Total price was great, paid 13,000 for it. All it needed was a wheel bearing so far. Now I'm going to the best restoration shop in town for a new coat of Bronzit. When she's back, she'll be stunning and in show car shape.
The most attractive part of it was the engine rebuild recently, otherwise I wouldn't have gone so far for her.
Comments - I'd be glad to hear em. Hope this gives an idea of the market, and I'd like to hear from other M6 owners as well so we can get an idea of what these beauties are worth.
James

P.S. To Joe L. in Maryland: she's a beauty and I just got her registered, so your plates will be in the mail shortly. Thanks a million for this classic; how's the M5?
