If its a true "M" 6-er (either a U.S. M6 or an M635, the engine will, of course, have the famous big black head with "M Power" stamped across it. Other exterior features are a deeper front deflector (as compared to the 635Csi) and the awesome (but bloody expensive) 3-piece BBS magnesium wheels (OEM). A five-speed manual transmission and deep recaro front seats (on the M635 at least) should be found inside the car. Also look for the //M insignia on the instrument cluster (although a seller can install the instrument cluster from an M6 into a 635Csi if he really wants to). Also, the M635Csi has head rests on the rear seats.

This is all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure the guys on this board will give you a few (or several) other features to look for in the next few days, if you're interested.

By the $4800 is WAY cheap for either the U.S. or Euro M6!!! I'd be suspicious.
