i wasn't clear whether you were being flip or thick. my point is that the car is 15 years old. even if it is in great shape, the next problem is right around the corner. a prospective buyer should understand that before jumping in.

the 85 is a wonderful creature, but it will require some tlc, no matter how well it purportedly was maintained.


Not to be flip, but after he buys it and put the TLC in it, if he immediately sells it, would you still say it "would require TLC no matter how well it was puportidly maintained?"

While THIS car might not be "mint" there ARE cars out there that DON'T need anything after purchase.

Maybe I've just been lucky.
