The more surface area the better, pads cannot grip air. Rotors that are slotted thru to the edge or the ATE power rotors are great. I use OE slotted rotors bot from Eurasian. Combine with ATE blue fluid, steel lines, recent caliper rebuild, no backing plates, and EBC racing pads and you're ready to go thru the front windshield! If you thought Porterfields were great, as I did, (but way dusty) than you will be amazed with EBC. And they don't dust, I guess it evaporates. The Porterfields stopped in a very linear fashion, the EBC pads like the threshold. I've added brake ducts for the track - no problems with fade, without ducts, fade was approaching, you would have to consider it. Hope this info helps.
