anyone install Dinan gauge panels? (archive)

Dinan lists two types of gauge panels for the E24, one mounted in the center upper vent, the other mounted below the console ahead of the shift area. I've seen the upper mount in a M635 once but never the lower panel. Anyone have experience with either??
