Mercedes 560sec vs BMW 635 csi (archive)

Now don't get mad at me for this guys (and girls) but I would like some input from anyone who has experience with these two cars.... My wife has a hankering for a SEC and it looks like she may get her wish sometime soon. The problem is deciding what to do with my 635. I'm not sure whether we can keep this as a third car (I need a van for the kids and boat) but I sure love driving my 6er. Anyone have experience with these two cars?? How will the Merc differ from my beloved 6? What about performance, handling,etc...? Any suggestions (other than finding a new wife with a Bavarian outlook???) Also, if going with the SEC, any suggested years or options (and why)? Thanks
