The tranny kit was easy. All I had to do was write a check. :-) I had a performance shop do it. Midwest MotorSport. Yes, it definitely solves the "smooth" shift problem. Definitely! It does delay the up-shift but not enough for me. I shift it semi-manually. I leave it in 2nd gear in the city; 3rd gear on the freeway and forth gear on the open road. Hope this helps. Have fun.
