it turned out the plastic housing for one of these connections had bitten the dust and the wires were touching. well we reconnected the wires (made sure they werent touching and it started, BUT whlie driving to the store later on, it started missing on a cylinder, well we go home and cant figure it out. out of desperation we try unplugging the wires after we start it, and it runs perfectly. now we have to plug it in to start and un plug to drive. did we fry the computer or what? thanks dan

Was running fine, repalced tierod and won't start. not getting any spark at all. Is there a fuseable link somewhere in the primary ignition system? What does the job of points? a module? Any help would be appreciated with regad to trouble shooting procedure on Bosh fuel injected six series with a seven series engine. Thanks

there is a couple sensors in the bellhousing that are famous for leaving us stranded, you only need to be concerned with that is a pickup for the ignition sys, off the flywheel. there is an air gap adjustment.
