Do check out a local 'Euro' shop or two and see if they can get parts and service it if necessary.
There are differences that the BMW dealers in the US were never setup to deal with. Some of the mechanicals are different.
Is there any particular questions to ask or anything in particular to look for when considering a euro car?
The M6 was designed for US import for a few years, the M635 has been around longer in Europe and is a gray market import (in the US).
The usual Euro/US differences. Bumpers are heavier on the M6, side markers, possibly ride height. The M6 is emmisions tuned with less compression, more restrictive exhaust and tuning. 256 HP compared to the Euro high-compression 286 (or close) HP.
In other words, the M6 is basically a factory federalized-for-import M635.
Can anyone tell me the difference between a M6 and a M635 euro?
