Not sure if you have one of these on your 633, but check the operation of the TPS (throttle position sensor). It could also be the air flow meter binding.

my 79'633csi turbo will not idle at all. when I stop. i have to angle my foot while still on the brake over to the accelerator to keep the RPM's alive. If it dies, it will not start for at least 10 minutes. I have the idle screw maxed, so i think it may be in the ol' mixture or even the computer. I pity the idiot who tries to steal my car and only moves about 3 feet.
