Hey Justin-were you replacing a comfort or sport seat? Did you use the base from your old seat and the Recaro adapters to attached the new one to the old base? I had no luck getting the right adapter for my new recaro and my old sport seat-I wound up having to make my own base and use sliders to get for and aft movement- very disappointing. I'm interested in how you did yours. Thanks.

two questions:
where can i get recaros for a 633?
how much will they be?

You can put any recaro seat in a bmw. Cloth ones run around $500-700, with leather being close to $1,000. But to mount the recaros you need special brackets, these cost anywhere from $100-200. I purchased mine from T.C. Kline racing. I don't have the number for them right now, but I can post it on monday.-Justin

I am replacing my stock bmw seat in a 633csi, with a leather recaro sport seat. I have not put mine in yet, hopefully by the end of the week, but as far as i'm aware, you mount the stock recaro sliders to the seat and to a special base. The base then mounts to the car. You cannot use the stock base. The base I have is a custom piece, made by tc kline racing, for the 633. I would call up tc kline racing and see if they can help you out,if your trying to find a base that might be better then your own. Their good guys that specialize in bmw racing.
