Fred:

Car sounds nice. The M6 is a wonderful car!

I use mine in the summer months up here in Calgary. Depending on where you live, might not want to use the car in the winter. They can be very prone to body rust (fenders, strut towers, rockers, tail light area, etc.). I have not really been hit with M6 specific repairs yet, but standard parts (brakes, etc.) can cost more than a 635CSi.

For more info on the M6 and six series, try query on the archives with 'purchase advise' or 'buying advice'.

Hope this helps!

Stu 1987 M6 Calgary Alberta Canada

Should I buy one for a daily driver? The one I'm looking at in in great shape, many new parts. 108k miles, $16k. I know nothing about M6s.
