Pat, try coating the tools with a light film of WD-40 or 3-in-1 oil. Don't sand too much- the plating is pretty thin.

I'm guessing this is happening due to the high humidity here in the Florida panhandle. I've taken sand paper and sanded off all the surface rust but after a couple of weeks, it's back again. Any ideas on preventing this? Thanks.
