Good to have the suspension, traction, and brakes done already! Looks sweet. I have a JC chip; it smoothed out the idle and added some response above 3000rpm. Lost a little mpg.

The biggest improvement I made performance-wise was replacing the 3.25 that was in my car with a 3.73ls diff. Its added performance without even touching the engine and at $400 it was a good deal.

There is a website that details making your own K&N cold-air filter setup in the tech section. You may want to refer to some of its details rather than plunking down $230+ for a cone and a heat shield. See the link below. It has been explained to me that aside from a neat audio effect, the filter is a very modest mod. and only does good if piped up closely behind the headlights. My car is still in the paintshop and I have yet to install the setup although I have the parts.

To make significant gains, port and polish the head, intake and exhaust manifolds.
