anyone ever lubed the seat motors? (archive)

The seats in my 1984 633csi are pretty noisy in certain directions. I was just wondering if anyone has attempted to quiet theirs or if it can even be done. Side view mirrors are equally as noisy but look easier to fix. Thanks.
