Selling my '85 M635csi (blk/blk, 65k miles) (archive)

After much painful deliberation I have decided to part with my M635. It has been obsessively maintained, both cosmetically and mechanically. While not perfect in appearance, it's pretty damn close. I've put together a web page with details and a few pictures at the link below.

I'm asking $16.5k firm. I neglected to mention on the web page that I have most of the records for the car as well as sundry extra parts (tailight lenses and front turn lenses, window switches, and the ///M stripes for the car which are still in the box). Included in the sale is a small collection of brochures for the M635 and M6 that I have collected over the years.

I can't imagine ever enjoying a car as much as I have this one. My only solace is that I might move on to a 4-door M3 or E34 M5.
