While it's true that the pad sensor will flicker rather than go completely on or off depending on whether a sensor circuit is complete, the sensor itself could be damaged. I recently had the same experience, but had a hunch it wasn't my brake pads. Indeed, one of the sensors, or more accurately the wire which accomodated where the sensor was plugged in, was damaged and was giving false readings. Which is basically to state the obvious, and not deconstruct your brake system before you know that it's not the sensors themselves. Chris
