The 1979 speedometer-cable has the mounting on the gearbox and youre 87 has the cable on the differential.


Can someone in this forum tell me if a '79 euro engine can be successfully transplanted in a '87 635csi with a std. tranny??
Will the rear bellhousing area mate up OK?? What other problems might I encounter should I try this swap???
