Oil cap is good guess, because bad seal on
oil cap or dipstick will cause bad idle. Also
check the oil pressure sender at the rear of the
head. I've had 2 go leaky. They let out enough oil
to cause a plume of smoke. $12 part.


Help guys,
my 80' 635 is idling sort of rough, plus I see/smell like
burning oil, on the passenger side of the engine at the back
any ideas? on: 1. rough idle. 2. burning oil/smoke.
