Johnny-
Sorry to hear about your grandma. I'd spend the money on springs and shocks first. You'll win two ways: the car'll look great with the lowered stance (you'll wish you had done it long ago) and handle much better-especially in combination with that strut tower brace! I used Eibach springs and Bilstein Sport shocks on my '85 and although some might feel that the ride's a little too harsh I don't mind it a bit considering the significant improvement in handling. I'm sure the brake upgrade Zack mentioned is worthwhile too, especially if you're going to track your car. I haven't done that on mine; I'm just running Pagid pads and s.s. brake lines which work pretty well on a strictly street-driven car.
