Good to hear that someone else shares my loathing for Jap "hotrods."

I don't suppose that it is possible to enjoy a BMW and appreciate the virtues of a VTec Honda, or RX7, or whatever? As foolish as it is for the owner of a Civic to say that "mine is better than yours", it is even more foolish to embarass yourselves and by extension other owners of BMW's with these chidlike retorts. The fact of the matter is that performance is largely a matter of power to weight and it is difficult to fool physics, or the guy in the next lane. I, for one, am glad to see kids hopping up small Japanese cars, or any cars for that matter. We all share the same passion, we simply speak a different language. So help them understand what seperates a 6 coupe from other cars, but don't rain on their parade in the meantime. BTW, my M635 shares space with a Montero, an X1/9, an old F-150 and, heaven help me a, an '85 Honda VF1000r. Sorry for the length of this, I would promise to switch to decaf, but I don't drink coffee.
