I bought an 87 M6 in Wash. DC for $14,000. It had 140,000 miles but had been maintained perfectly and the owner had all the records. Your price sounds fair but usually a seller can be expected to pick up part of the immediate repair costs, especially if they are needed to pass a safety inspection.
