My local dealer sez that the std. exhaust tips for the 1988 M6 are shown as NLA! Dealer I bought this Bronzit M6 from replaced the muffler sans tips: 82 1 19 413
969.

Anyone have 2 ea. in good condition? What's your going price for 2 of these?

What's the outside diameter of the tail pipes? There is probably another BMW # for a similar tip of the same diameter. BTW, the parts CD says it should be 45mm and the microfiche says 50mm. I tend to trust the microfiche over the CD, but I'm not sure on this one.

Matt, my caliper measures 55 mm, or 2.17", both pipes, both horizontally & vertically!!
