Towing Kit!
Now there's something I would never have thought of. (g)
I'll try a new pressure switch.
Thanks

Hope someone has had this... car goes on about a 30 second cycle, first dumping pressure (sags about 4in) then pumping up to normal, holds for a short while and repeats. I've disconnected the pump, and it seems to hold whatever ride height you disconnect at. I'd probably go for acumulators, but if it's into the high dollar items I'd just as soon delete the system. (which in turn would lead to new springs all around and Bilsteins). Currently everything is as delivered but with 140k on it.

Probably not the accumulators. Most likely the pressure switch or the height sensor. You can by pass the pressure swith with a jumper but I've never had to work on the level sensor.

If you replace the system BMW offers a towing kit for the e24. It includes springs, spacers, etc to elimiate the SLS. Think its about $500
